i also noticed this when i was trying to commit the svn_io_run_diff
changes this morning.

i think it was already hung when i started, as i didn't even get part
way into the commit.

what we really need to do is isolate exactly what is causing the
repository to lock up, so if anyone notices this, mail the list
immediately, so we can try to narrow down the cause.
