Indeed -- revert is supposed to remove the .rej file. It will.

But one other note to the original poster of this thread: we're
trying to discourage the behavior of 'rm foo; svn up' as means of
reverting local changes. Yes, it works for theoretical reasons. But
'svn revert' is the preferred method to do this -- and it doesn't use
the network either.
