Actually... yes, it could be related to the firewall. Some firewalls don't
pass WebDAV messages through. Check http://www.webdav.org/other/proxy.html

Also, try checking out from svn.collab.net:81 (instead of port 80). If that
port is allowed through your proxy, then it might not attempt to handle HTTP
messages (thus, not barfing on DAV msgs)
