Sorry, forgot to mention in the previous message: there are Synedra
design documents available online, on our webpage:

The docs that are up there right now are fairly high level; I hope to
have time in the next few weeks to write up some more detailed info
about things like how we store code, and how we handle deltas (we use a
ClearCase like in-place delta mechanism). Right now, I'm neck deep in
debugging
of our branch merge code, so I haven't had time to get the detailed
design docs into a publically consumable form.
