Uh...not sure. I didn't know it went anywhere. I always, always,
always update with "cvs -q up -dP", yet that directory remains. I'm
not a CVS expert, so it is only a guess when I say that perhaps the
existence of files in that directory that aren't in CVS (the ones that
provoked me to re-add .cvsignore there) is causing CVS to NOT remove
that directory from my working copy.

I just rm -rf'ed my tests/libsvn_ra_dav directory, and updated from
CVS, and the directory was NOT created.

Karl (or someone else with the bits), can you look at this from the
server side and try to figure out what the state of this area of the
codebase is?

Sorry for re-adding the .cvsignore -- obviously I wouldn't have done
so if I'd known that this directory was supposed to have been gone.
