I haven't used NeXT's FileMerge. I use xxdiff. I like it a lot, to
the point where I can barely comprehend regular diff's output anymore.
xxdiff's ancestors are xdiff and gdiff, which were developed at SGI
for IRIX over the last decade.

kdiff (part of KDE) looks a lot like xxdiff, but its behavior is
completely broken.
