I had a feeling somebody was going to say ``oh, there's a way to do
that!'' I hadn't thought to look in the global options.

Still, I think that ``show the status of my working copy in the cvs
update output format'' is important enough to be the default behavior
for some command -- possibly, but not necessarily, `svn status'. I'm
certainly happy that it's available as a non-default behavior for `cvs
update', but I think it's more useful than that relative obscurity
suggests.
