request for changes in get_editor.c:apply_textdelta

Greg H, this is probably your bailiwick:

I just checked in the first of what will probably be not-very-major
changes to get_editor.c:apply_textdelta() to make it work when no text
base file is present (as in a checkout). See the diff in that area
for the general idea. Can you finish up the change? I think you'll
do it a lot faster than I, since you now seem to own that code :-).

Also, let us know when it's time to change the test XML files
(tests/checkout-{1,2}.delta) to contain real vcdiff data (!!!).

If there's anything unresolved that you're blocking on, please make a
noise right quick. I *think* all the issues you recently (and quite
justifiably) brought up have been addressed now... But it's possible
that some got lost in the shuffle, so don't be shy about reminding.
