There will definitely be Python projects at some point (tho I'd guess all
after the 1.0 release). As a Subversion developer who is also a Python
advocate/bigot/guru, I'll be ensuring we get full support :-)

And yes: assistance with the projects will be gladly appreciated.

As a rough guess, I'd say that we'll see Python embedded in the server to
run scripts when actions occur (such as a commit). If you're not up on
embedding, then there would certainly be a lot of creative things you could
do from the scripting side (e.g. the Python scripts that get invoked).
